Graphic Artist — Production | Openwork
Pay: $18-$20/hr, depending on experience
Put your creativity and technical skills to work! We're hiring a Production Artist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a company that offers opportunities for growth once permanent.
What You'll Do:
- Work with product managers to define design requirements.
- Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before products are completed.
- Finalize designs using image editing software.
- Retouch images to improve quality for both print and digital formats.
- Suggest and apply image improvements, including gradients and layers.
- Manage the prepress process for print files.
- Meet deadlines to ensure timely publications.
- Archive completed images and graphics.
- Follow up with clients to ensure their requirements are met.
- Stay up to date on trends in graphic design techniques and software.
What You Need:
- Proven experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with graphic design and image editing software, including Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and web development systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creativity with strong attention to detail.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- $18-$20/hr, depending on experience
- Full-time, temp-to-hire
