Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Production Graphic Artist / Print Press Operator familiar in the Printing/Sign Shop industry in the Alvin area. In this fast-paced, prepress role, you will be responsible for taking a customer's vision and designing or perfecting artwork. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
In a Production Graphic Artist / Print Press Operator:
Operating vinyl plotters, Roland digital presses, CNC routers and other printing equipment.
General sign assembly and finishing
Set up and recalibrate production equipment.
Prepare materials for production.
Keep track of supply inventory
Assist with packaging and labeling finished products.
Ensure consistent product quality.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
What you'll need:
Previous work experience in graphic design, print press and production is REQUIRED!
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a MUST!
Machine operation experience is a plus.
Strong design and production experience preferred
Proficiency with math and ability to multitask
Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are a must!
Must work with a sense of urgency – role is hands-on.
Ability to lift up-to 50lbs repeatedly.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
$18.00 - 23.00/hr. (depending on experience)
