Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a General Laborer in Union City, GA. In this Role, you will be responsible for material handling and housekeeping. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. In a General Laborer job, you’ll be responsible for: 1. Sorting recyclable materials such as metal by type and grade. 2. Removing non-recyclable or hazardous materials from sorting lines to maintain product quality and safety. 3. Loading and unloading materials manually or using basic equipment. 4. Sorted, separated, and categorized metal materials according to type, grade, and quality standards. 5. Assisted in loading and unloading trucks and containers to maintain steady workflow in recycling operations. 6. Maintained a clean, organized work area and followed strict safety protocols and PPE requirements. What you’ll need: 1. Previous experience in general labor, or recycling operations (preferred). MUST have reliable transportation. 2. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. 3. Comfortable with working outdoors or in non-climate-controlled environments in varying weather conditions. 4. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. 6. Must have steel toe boots. Perks:
