Forklift Operator 

Location: Memphis, TN

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required.) 
Starting Pay: $17.50 

 
Job Summary

Openwork is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a busy distribution warehouse. In this role, you will safely operate material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize inventory while supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, values safety, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts as assigned.

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.

• Move, stage, and store products in designated warehouse locations.

• Replenish inventory to picking locations to support order fulfillment.

• Pick and transport products using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.

• Verify product quantities, labels, and locations for inventory accuracy.

• Assist with shipping, receiving, and order preparation.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse procedures.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent forklift operating experience is preferred.

• Experience operating stand-up, sit-down, reach truck, or cherry picker equipment.

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
