Meador Staffing, an Openwork company is seeking a Forklift Operator for an electrical manufacturing company in the Channelview/Houston Port area. Apply if you meet the qualifications of this role.
What you'll do in this role:
- Responsible for the receipt, stocking and record keeping of new and existing materials.
- Communicate with staff and management team to identify material needs.
- Fill workstations with appropriate hardware and material, as identified.
- Maintain records of materials using a scanner or designated computer program.
- May utilize a forklift to transport, load and unload materials.
- Must learn and adhere to all safety policies and practices to avoid safety incidents.
- Must learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure consistent production.
- Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality
What you'll need for this role:
- 1-3 years of Forklift experience
- Ability to follow safety polices and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- High School Diploma or GED required
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM
Friday 6AM - 2PM
Pay:
$16.50/Hr.
