Forklift Operator must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for in-and-outbound orders, inventory management, storage, and accurate documentation of packaged material from the conveyor line.

 

Requirements:

•Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.

•Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

•Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

•Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions.

•Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.

•Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization including but not limited to general labor.

•Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.

•Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start of shift.

•Must pass the client Forklift Driver Exam for both theory and practice.

•Must have a valid/current driver’s license.

•Ensure all dock operations are performed according to the specific instructions; the client prides itself on extreme accuracy.

•Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service, including the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner within diversified situations.

•Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

•Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow/execute all safety procedures/rules as outlined in the client Safety Manual and OSHA Regulations.

•Possess a high standard of quality.

•Thorough knowledge of all procedures, instructions, and documents of the Client Quality Manual relevant to the department and facility.

Pay: $16.50/hr
Scheduled: 7am-7pm
