Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Forklift Operator in Baytown, TX. In this self-motivated and productive and detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for general labor duties, wear required Personal Protective Equipment and Drive Forklift.  In a Forklift Operator  job, you’ll be responsible for: 

 

• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times

• Follow all safety procedures outlined in the company Safety Manual and OSHA regulations

• Perform general labor tasks and assist various departments as needed

• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas

• Safely operate tools and equipment as required

• Provide professional and courteous customer service in diverse situations

• Work independently with little or no supervision

• Arrive on time and be ready to work at least 5 minutes before shift start

• Work outside of normal business hours when required

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

 

• Must pass company FLD written and practical exam

• Valid/current driver’s license required

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards

• Ability to frequently lift 55 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, including extreme weather conditions
  Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

SCHEDULE: 6 am - 6 pm

HOURLY RATE: $16.50
