Finishing Operator
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $19.00/hr
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Openwork is hiring Finishing Operators for a customer in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity to join a leading label manufacturing company with steady hours, weekly pay, and long-term growth potential.
As a Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, finishing, packaging, and preparing printed labels for shipment while ensuring all quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Inspect labels for quality, accuracy, and customer specifications
- Operate finishing and rewinding equipment
- Package finished products for shipment
- Verify production orders and job specifications
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain accurate production documentation
- Move materials and finished products throughout the department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Printing, converting, or finishing experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with repetitive lifting throughout the shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and moving materials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
