Job Title: Facilities Technician

Shift & Pay:
- 1st Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | $16.50/hr
- 2nd Shift: 4:15 PM – 12:45 AM | $18.50/hr
Job Summary:
Openwork is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician to support daily facility operations. This role focuses on maintaining building supplies, assisting with basic repairs, and supporting general office and warehouse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure building supplies are stocked and organized
- Operate compactor and baler for waste management
- Support general office and facility requests
- Deliver and distribute mail as needed
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs
- Communicate observations, issues, and requests to supervisors
- Follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks under supervision
Requirements:
- Less than 1 year of related experience required
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow directions
- Basic computer skills for simple tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working on ladders
- Good manual dexterity
