Openwork’s Houston branch is partnering with a well-established HVAC manufacturer and supplier to hire a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and fully operational facilities.

What You’ll Do

As a key part of the operations team, you will:

• Clean and assist with the overall upkeep of the facility

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems

• Complete general repairs including drywall, painting, doors, and building fixtures

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs

• Maintain trash receptacles throughout the facility

• Support a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment

Your work will directly impact facility efficiency, employee safety, and daily production flow.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Facilities Maintenance Technician preferred

• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting ability

• Experience using power tools and hand tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality

• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening

PPE Requirements

• Full ankle-support safety toe shoes (steel or composite)

• All other required PPE provided by the company
