Facilities Maintenance Manager – Warehouse
Location: College Park, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift (Must be flexible for occasional 2nd shift needs)
Pay: $70,000 – $85,000 Annually (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations within our high-volume glasses warehouse. This is a working manager role responsible for managing the maintenance team while also performing repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment servicing as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-focused, and able to keep equipment and facility operations running smoothly to prevent downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform day-to-day maintenance and repair activities within the warehouse.
- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, schedule work assignments, and ensure timely completion.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, conveyors, packaging equipment, and building systems.
- Monitor inventory of parts, supplies, and tools; coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Respond to urgent maintenance needs and support 2nd shift when required.
- Manage maintenance records, work orders, and service logs.
- Assist in facility upgrades, equipment installations, and continuous improvement projects.
- Work closely with operations to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in facilities or industrial maintenance; leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.
- Experience with conveyors, automated equipment, or warehouse systems a plus.
- Hands-on work ethic with willingness to be actively involved in repairs.
- Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.
- Ability to work 1st shift with schedule flexibility for after-hours or 2nd shift emergencies.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
