Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Equipment Associate with a career path into Inside Sales. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, learning technical equipment, and building a long-term career in industrial sales and equipment rentals.
The selected candidate will begin by learning branch operations, equipment handling, inventory management, and customer service before transitioning into an Inside Sales role supporting customers with equipment rental solutions. The position focuses on pumps, filtration systems, fluid transfer equipment, tanks, hoses, and related industrial products.
Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment preparation, inspection, cleaning, and staging.
- Load, unload, and organize rental equipment in the yard and warehouse.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and inventory tracking.
- Provide excellent customer service to walk-in, phone, and email inquiries.
- Learn industrial pumping, filtration, and fluid transfer equipment applications.
- Support the sales team with quotes, contracts, reservations, and order fulfillment.
- Develop customer relationships and identify rental opportunities.
- Utilize CRM and inventory management software to support branch operations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing sales and product training programs.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, equipment rental, industrial, construction, oil & gas, or sales experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable learning technical products and equipment applications.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
