Meador an Openwork Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control & Document Imaging Technician to support a records digitization project in The Woodlands. The role involves preparing, scanning, reviewing, and organizing documents to create high-quality digital records while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, and bindings
- Scan documents using high-speed scanners and multifunction printers
- Review scanned images for clarity, completeness, and accuracy
- Ensure proper file naming, indexing, and organization of digital records
- Identify and correct image quality issues such as skewed pages, shadows, or missing pages
- Re-scan documents when necessary to meet quality standards
- Maintain productivity while meeting project deadlines
- Handle confidential documents with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications:
- Previous document scanning, records management, or document imaging experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including file management and PDF software
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently
- Ability to lift 10–30 lbs. as needed
- Experience with Laserfiche is a plus
Location: The Woodlands, TX
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: 25–30 hours per week
Project Length: 4–5 months (Potential Extension)
