Openwork is Hiring! – Dimensional Inspector

Location: Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown)
Shift: Night Shift | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed (Saturdays currently required most weeks)
Openings: 3 Positions
Pay: Based on Experience

Openwork is currently hiring 3 experienced Dimensional Inspectors to join the Quality Control team in East Downtown Houston, near Navigation and Wayside Drive. This is a great opportunity for candidates with quality inspection experience who are looking to grow with an established company!

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

• Perform dimensional inspections of parts to ensure they meet specifications.

• Use inspection tools such as calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, and other measuring instruments.

• Apply knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports.

• Assist with additional quality control duties as assigned.

• Be available to work weekends as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Quality Control / Dimensional Inspection experience.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of measurement tools and inspection equipment.

• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to receiving an employment offer.
