Set up and start extruder according to established procedures and production schedule.

Coordinate with supervisor and materials mixer to ensure timely material supply.

Monitor and adjust extrusion settings per control plan; record data and maintain production logs.

Operate extruder, including refilling, filter changes, cleaning, and starting/stopping as needed.

Inspect product quality, provide samples for testing, and communicate with QC regarding results.

Ensure proper labeling, packaging, traceability, and accurate material weight documentation.

Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with supervisors or support departments as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area between runs and at shift end (5S standards).

Complete work orders and required documentation accurately.

Follow safety policies and support a productive team environment.

Perform materials mixer duties and other assigned tasks as needed.

High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Previous manufacturing and extrusion experience 

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment

Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Basic math and documentation skills

Strong attention to detail

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
