Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Customer Service Representative for a well-established company located in North Austin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, processing orders, and ensuring a positive overall customer experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate product or service information and resolving issues efficiently
  • Processing customer orders, forms, applications, and requests
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments when necessary
  • Supporting internal teams with customer-related tasks and communication
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers
  • Meeting or exceeding customer service KPIs and quality standards
  • Learning about products and services to provide informed, effective support

What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a customer service, call center, or client-facing role
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Positive and customer-focused attitude
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
