Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Creeler in Thomaston, GA. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will be responsible for supporting production operations by loading thread packages onto creels, using a manual pallet jack, and keeping materials organized and ready for production. In a Creeler job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Loading and placing thread packages onto creels for production
• Frequently lifting thread packages weighing approximately 7 lbs., with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Using a manual pallet jack to move materials
• Climbing small ladders to safely access and place packages on higher creels
• Maintaining an organized and efficient production area
• Following safety procedures and production guidelines
• Performing basic production duties while learning and ramping up into the Creeler position
• Demonstrating strong visual attention to detail throughout the production process

What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Ability to climb small ladders safely
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack or willingness to learn
• Good visual acuity and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required
• An updated resume
