Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find Construction Workers for an active project in the North Austin area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting daily construction operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards. As a Construction Worker, you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting with general construction tasks including loading/unloading materials, site prep, and cleanup
• Operating basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Supporting skilled trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.) as needed
• Following all job site safety guidelines and wearing proper PPE at all times
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to instructions
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assisting with inspections and ensuring work meets quality standards
• Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines and goals

What you’ll need:

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work in outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability (consistent attendance is a must)
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with a team
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
• Reliable transportation to job site

Perks:

• Pay: $19–$21/hour based on experience
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–5:00 pm
