Commercial Graphics Tech – Large Format Print & Production
This company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Print Production Technician to join our production team. This role is focused on operating equipment, preparing files, and producing high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced commercial print environment.
This is not a conceptual or creative design position. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, problem-solving, organization, and maintaining quality standards throughout the print process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare customer files for print production
- Operate and maintain digital print and finishing equipment
- Produce, trim, mount, laminate, and package printed graphics
- Ensure color consistency and print quality
- Review work orders and verify specifications before production
- Maintain an organized and efficient production workspace
- Assist with material handling, inventory, and shop upkeep
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
Qualifications
- Experience in print production, sign production, or large-format graphics preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, or similar production software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
- Comfortable working in a production/shop environment
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven setting
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $20-$22, DOE
Location: 77040
Schedule: M-F, 8am to 5pm
