CNC Machinist (Mill Focus)
Location: Houston, TX 77028
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Openwork is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist with strong milling experience to support a high-quality manufacturing operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who values consistency, precision, and long-term stability.
Your Day-to-Day
- Set up and operate CNC mills and other machining equipment
- Program and edit G-code at the machine or workstation
- Read blueprints and translate them into accurate machining processes
- Select tooling and optimize cutting parameters
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain equipment and ensure quality standards are met
- Support team members and maintain an efficient workflow
What You Need to Succeed
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong CNC milling experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools
- Solid understanding of machining processes and materials
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Work Environment
- Climate-controlled shop
- Exposure to regulated materials requiring strict safety protocols
- Respirator use required; clean-shaven policy applies
- End-of-shift hygiene procedures required
