Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a detail oriented CNC Machinist in the Houston, TX area. In this high-performing role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up machines, using tool probes. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

 In a CNC Machinist job you’ll be responsible for:

• Perform complete set-ups and operate CNC Mills & Lathes (HAAS preferred)

• Program from prints and models (GibbsCam experience preferred)

• Machine and inspect rotating parts, split parts, and bearings

• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust parameters

• Perform quality checks with calipers, gauges, and micrometers

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

 What you’ll need:

• 2+ years CNC machining experience

• Experience with rotating machinery, bearings, and full set-ups

• Ability to read blueprints and work from technical models

• GibbsCam experience is a PLUS
