Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find CNC Machinists/Operator for a manufacturing facility located in Manor, TX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for a skilled machinist looking to grow within a stable and supportive company.

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications

• Setting up machines, including loading materials and selecting appropriate tooling

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

• Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments

• Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards

• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues

• Using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area

• Following all company safety guidelines and procedures

• Supporting team members and supervisors with daily production needs

What you’ll need:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience

• Ability to safely operate CNC equipment and use precision measuring tools

• Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team

• Basic understanding of manufacturing and shop safety practices

• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed

Perks:

• Pay ranges from $24–$32+ per hour (based on experience)

• Two schedule options available:

  • Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:30 AM (Fridays off, occasional overtime)

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
