Openwork is seeking an experienced Bridge Saw Operator to join a hands-on manufacturing operation. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience operating industrial cutting equipment and working with granite, marble, stone, or other countertop materials.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Bridge Saw Operation: Safely operate an industrial bridge saw to accurately cut granite countertops and marble slabs according to specifications.
  • Material Handling: Safely move and position heavy stone materials throughout the facility.
  • Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift safely, including maneuvering equipment in confined spaces.
  • Production: Maintain a steady, efficient work pace while meeting production requirements.
  • Quality Control: Inspect cuts and finished materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Equipment Safety: Follow proper operating procedures and report equipment issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Work Area: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience operating an industrial bridge saw preferred.
  • Experience cutting granite, marble, quartz, or other stone materials is a plus.
  • Previous forklift experience required.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain a consistent and productive work pace.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Manufacturing, fabrication, countertop, or stone industry experience is a plus.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to meet all PPE, hygiene, and respirator requirements
  • Work Environment

  • This position works in a safety-sensitive industrial manufacturing environment with specific PPE and hygiene requirements.

  • Respirator required throughout the entire shift
  • Must remain clean-shaven to maintain a proper respirator seal
  • Showering at the end of each shift is mandatory
  • Work involves lead-based materials
  • Periodic blood testing is required
  • Must follow all PPE, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
  • Must be comfortable working around industrial equipment and heavy materials
