Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Bookkeeper for a company located in Southeast Austin. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations to ensure company financial processes run smoothly. As a Bookkeeper, you’ll be responsible for:

• Maintaining and updating financial records and accounting documentation

• Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time

• Reconciling bank statements and company accounts

• Assisting with preparing financial reports and tracking company expenses

• Monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

• Ensuring financial records are accurate and compliant with company procedures

• Supporting the accounting team with general financial and administrative tasks

• Maintaining organized financial documentation and records

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• No accounting license required

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

• Experience with QuickBooks Online required

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Basic computer and spreadsheet skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule
