PAY: $19–$23 PER HOUR
LOCATION: Bay City, TX
OPENINGS: 3 — 2 Day Shift | 1 Night Shift

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is seeking Boilermakers for a heat exchanger manufacturing and fabrication facility in Bay City. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
  • Perform fitting, welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication.
  • Use hand and power tools safely.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
  • Follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of Boilermaker, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, welding, or industrial fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Welding, fitting, and fabrication experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Reliable and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
