Billing Specialist Looking for a self-motivated person, who works well with others and demonstrates strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills. Employees must be dependable and trustworthy with finance and other departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Invoicing/billing responsibilities
Handle a high volume of billing per month, volume varies
Maintain and review work orders for Operations (e.g. PO, OA, quotes, and management approvals)
Assist Finance, Operations, and other locations
Assist Finance with month end tasks
Respond and assist sales department requests
Update and ensure required Tax Exemption documents are on file
Process invoices in customer portal
Contact customers regarding unpaid invoices over thirty (30) days
Responds to customer inquiries and requests
Reconcile subledger/invoice report to P&L on a weekly basis
Attend weekly collections meetings ā prepare and follow up
Proactively engage and support company initiative designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Finance and Operations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic accounting
Excellent computer and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, organizational, time management, independent and interdependent skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Be a self-motivated individual who is proactive and takes initiative
Team oriented and able to interact with multiple departments
Skill in following both verbal and written instructions
Proficient Microsoft Office (incl. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience creating Excel pivot tables
Proficient in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus)
Bilingual (English & Spanish is a plus)
Minimum Qualifications/Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Three to five years A/R experience is preferred
Degree in Accounting or related field is a plus

Office environment
