Job Title: Billing Clerk
 

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and computer savvy Billing Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for billing public sector / service industry services and purchases, ensuring accuracy between purchase orders, inventory records, and customer billing. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure all billing information is accurate and complete.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all billing functions with a high level of attention to detail

• Prepare and generate invoices for public sector / service industry services and purchases

• Review and match purchase orders to invoices to ensure accuracy

• Verify inventory items and pricing before billing

• Apply credits, discounts, or adjustments to customer accounts as needed

• Ensure totals are accurate and reflect any account credits

• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation

• Manage incoming and outgoing billing-related emails

• Work within the company’s CRM system (training provided)

• Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reporting and communication

• Assist with inventory tracking and system updates

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with purchase orders and invoicing required

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience matching purchase orders to invoices

• Cash management experience required

• Comfortable working with CRM systems and managing multiple software platforms

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage inventory records and billing systems efficiently
