As a Bilingual Window Teller, you’ll be the face of public service—assisting Harris County residents with essential vehicle registration, titling, licensing, and tax transactions. What You’ll Do


Deliver Excellent Customer Service
 

• Greet and assist customers with registration, titling, and licensing needs.
   
• Provide accurate information in English and your second language.
   
• Resolve questions and concerns with professionalism and care.
   

Handle Payments with Accuracy and Integrity
 

• Process payments by cash, check, and card with precision.
   
• Balance your cash drawer daily and maintain accurate financial reports.
   

Maintain Accurate Records and Verify Documents
 

• Enter transaction details into the state system quickly and accurately.
   
• Review titles, IDs, and proof of ownership for authenticity.
   
• Follow fraud prevention procedures and uphold data security standards.
   

Learn and Advance Through Training
 

• Complete an eight-week state-certified training program.
   
• Shadow experienced staff to gain hands-on skills.
   
• Apply your training to live transactions with confidence and accuracy.
   

What You Bring
 

• High school diploma or GED (U.S.-accredited).
   
• At least six (6) months of recent, in-person customer service experience involving cash handling — such as in retail, banking, hospitality, or similar face-to-face settings.
   
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
   
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese.
   
• Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.

Position Details
 

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays; some travel may be required)
   
• Pay: $15/hour, paid weekly
   
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available
   
• Locations: Multiple Harris County offices
