As a Bilingual Window Teller, you’ll be the first point of contact for Harris County residents. Your ability to serve the public in both English and Spanish ensures that every customer is supported with professionalism, clarity, and respect. From vehicle registrations to property tax payments, your work directly impacts the community while giving you valuable government experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers with professionalism and courtesy

• Process vehicle registrations, property tax payments, title transfers, and permits

• Handle cash, check, credit/debit, and e-check transactions accurately

• Translate instructions and documentation to support Spanish-speaking residents

• Balance your cash drawer and complete daily reports

• Uphold accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance standards

• Support other branch operations and adapt to high-volume service needs

• Travel to other branches as needed for training or coverage

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)

• At least 6 months of recent, face-to-face customer service with cash handling (retail, banking, or similar)

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from a U.S.-accredited institution (required)

• Typing speed of 30+ WPM

• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and data entry skills

• Dependable, professional, and punctual, with a strong commitment to public service

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays required; must be open to traveling to other branches for training or support)

• Pay: $15/hour, paid weekly

• Type: Temp-to-Hire with potential for permanent placement

• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available

• Location: Multiple Harris County offices
