Position Details

• Role: Bilingual Voter Clerk

• Pay: $15 per hour

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend shifts as needed

• Location: Downtown Houston

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and process voter registration applications and related documents

• Generate voter registration certificates

• Answer incoming calls and assist the public with voter registration inquiries

• Process phone and mail-in voter requests

• Provide general election information (e.g., precinct numbers, polling locations, early voting, and Election Day details)

• Prepare incoming mail for imaging and processing

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and one of the following: Vietnamese, Chinese, or Spanish

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution

• At least 1 year of recent in-person customer service and data entry experience

• Strong attendance and punctuality

• Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM (skills testing will be administered)

• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, especially during election periods
