Bilingual Team Lead (English/Spanish)

Location: Memphis, TN
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required.)

Job Summary

Openwork is hiring a Bilingual Team Lead (English/Spanish) to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between warehouse associates and management, providing leadership, coaching, and operational support to ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are met. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with warehouse experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively support both English- and Spanish-speaking employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates throughout the shift.

• Assist with daily work assignments and monitor employee productivity.

• Train and coach new employees on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and quality standards.

• Communicate production goals, priorities, and operational updates to team members.

• Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) communication between employees and management.

• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies.

• Assist with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and other warehouse operations as needed.

• Ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and reporting hazards.

• Escalate operational issues, equipment concerns, and employee matters to supervisors when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate documentation and support inventory accuracy.

• Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication preferred).

• Minimum of 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.

• Previous experience leading or training warehouse employees preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills and experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems are a plus.

• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
