Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a CONTRACT-TO-HIRE Bilingual Benefits Specialist in the Pasadena area (77506) that is eager to work. The Benefits Specialist is responsible for leading the administration and strategic support of employee benefit programs across the organization.
As a Bilingual Benefits Specialist you’ll be responsible for:
Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and 401(k) plans, managing enrollments, status changes, loans, withdrawals, and claims resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, ensuring resources and communications are clear, accessible, and up to date across internal platforms.
Oversee leave programs including FMLA, ADA, state leave, and short- and long-term disability, coordinating documentation and compliance with third-party administrators and managers.
Manage workers’ compensation processes including claim reporting, tracking, and coordination of return-to-work programs with safety teams and carriers.
Lead annual open enrollment, partnering with leadership and brokers to develop presentations, employee communications, and training materials.
Manage relationships with benefits brokers, insurance carriers, and third-party vendors; evaluate plan performance, utilization trends, and renewal proposals.
Ensure compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and applicable regulations, conduct audits, maintaining accurate data, and preparing internal and regulatory reports.
What you’ll need:
MUST be bilingual
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
3-5 full benefits experience
Knowledgeable in HRIS
Perks:
$36-$38/hr+
