Meador Staffing is currently sourcing for an Assistant Technician – Leak Repair on behalf of our client, a well-established industrial services company.

Job Overview:
The Assistant Technician will support leak detection and repair work at client sites. This hands-on role includes working with tools, measuring components, and helping install repair devices while following strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in locating and repairing leaks in industrial equipment
• Use basic tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.) to measure and prepare components
• Help install clamps, enclosures, and other repair solutions
• Communicate with team members and client personnel on job sites
• Be available for occasional emergency call-outs and travel as needed
• Document work performed and assist with quality control checks

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong mechanical aptitude; hands-on experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work at heights or on ladders
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel occasionally, depending on customer needs.
• Willing to work in both indoor and outdoor industrial environments
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)
