Responsibilities for this Key Assembly Associate job include:
Assemble and key door knobs, deadbolts, and locksets following specific keying instructions and codes.
Operate key-cutting and pinning machines safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret keying charts, codes, and work orders to ensure accuracy.
Inspect finished products for proper functionality, appearance, and key match.
Maintain accurate records of keying combinations and product batches.
Package and label finished products for shipment or inventory.
Report any equipment issues or discrepancies in product quality to supervisors.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience in lock/key production or mechanical assembly preferred.
Good manual dexterity.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills
Willingness to learn and operate keying/assembly tools.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate:
$18/hr
