Openwork is hiring an Assembly Team Lead in Training for a manufacturing facility in Denton. This role is designed for individuals with solid production experience who are ready to grow into a leadership position and take on more responsibility.
Your Role
- Support and lead a team in the wooden reel assembly process
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and finished goods
- Help ensure production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to team members
- Coordinate daily workflow with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Woodworking experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, motivated, and ready to grow
