Meador is partnering up with an electronics manufacturer for an Assembler III in the Webster, TX area. Candidate must have previous experience with electronic assembling experience. Full-time with benefits upon permanent placement!

Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21-$24
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical equipment and parts according to schematics and assembly instructions.
- Verify issued part numbers match specifications.
- Maintain production area integrity, cleanliness, and organization according to standards.
- Work closely with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and supervisors, to meet production targets and ensure timely delivery of finished products.
- Extensive knowledge of pneumatic/electrical tools.
- Knowledge of quality control principles and experience conducting inspections and tests preferred.
- Perform quality checks on work, identifying and recording any product defects.
- Understanding of workload line balancing.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance assembly techniques, streamline workflows, and optimize productivity (including tooling, equipment and process optimization).
- Ability to troubleshoot and rework products as needed to meet quality standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling small components and performing precision tasks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of basic electronics concepts and terminology.
• Ability to work with small parts.
• Maintain clean and safe work area to ensure a productive work environment.
• Commitment to follow safety protocols.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in mechanical assembly a plus. 7+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing or walking. Occasional climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
