Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a contract-to-hireAP Specialist for a company located in Deer Park (77536). This role is responsible for full-cycle AP processing, invoice management, job cost coding, and supporting multi-entity accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience working with high-volume invoicing.
As an AP Specialist you’ll be responsible for:
Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
Perform corporate share invoicing and maintain supporting documentation
Handle invoice coding, including job cost coding and general ledger allocation
Support multi-entity accounting functions and intercompany transactions
Verify tax rates and ensure compliance with applicable sales/use tax requirements
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain accurate AP records and assist with month-end close activities
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
Ensure timely processing of payments while adhering to company policies and procedures
What you’ll need:
Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
Knowledge of multi-entity accounting environments
Experience with job cost coding required
Viewpoint software experience preferred
