Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a CONTRACT AP COORDINATOR in the Deer Park, TX area that is eager to work. The AP Coordinator supports financial operations by ensuring timely, accurate processing of accounts payable transactions while maintaining compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and audit requirements. This role contributes to strong vendor relationships and overall financial integrity.
As an AP COORDINATOR you’ll be responsible for:
Process and code vendor invoices in accordance with credit union policies and GL guidelines
Prepare and issue payments (ACH, checks, wire transfers) in a timely manner
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation for audit compliance
Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals and account reconciliations
Respond to internal staff and vendor inquiries regarding payment status
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls specific to financial institutions
Support 1099 preparation and year-end reporting activities
What you’ll need:
1 - 3 years of AP experience
Intermediate knowledge of Excel
