AP/AR Clerk

Pay: $24.00/hour

Job Summary

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a friendly and professional AP/AR Clerk in Stafford! If you’re customer-focused, and enjoy helping people, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance 
• Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data from the Transportation Management System is exported to the accounting system
• Process daily customer invoicing and vendor payables ensuring they are accurately recorded in the accounting system

Requirements:

• 5 or more years' Experience in accounting or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks)
• Major ERP system experience with SAP is required
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Other basic office duties – answering phones, filing, etc.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 8:00am - 5:00 pm
