Location: Conroe, TX (On-Site)
Position Type: Contract (Estimated 4-Week Assignment)
Schedule: Full-Time, ~40 Hours/Week
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 – $25.00 / hour (DOE)
Reports To: Plant Nurse
Role Overview
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Specialist for a 4-week, on-site project at our Huntsman Conroe facility. This role will support site operations by managing document control for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) files and organizing confidential health and medical records.
The ideal candidate possesses strong file management skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while handling sensitive, confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Audit & Alignment
  • Audit physical Safety Data Sheets (hard copies) against Huntsman’s electronic library database.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical binder archives and the digital library to ensure complete synchronization.
  • Archive, organize, or properly stage outdated paper SDS materials according to facility standards.
Confidential Medical Records Filing
  • Process, organize, and archive confidential medical documentation in the facility medical office.
  • Ensure all physical records and health files strictly comply with HIPAA confidentiality and safety guidelines.
  • Assist the Site Nurse with general administrative organization and office filing tasks as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 2+ years of administrative, document control, or clerical filing experience.
  • Organizing Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a systematic approach to sorting, auditing, and cross-referencing files.
  • Confidentiality: Demonstrated understanding of handling sensitive, confidential information (prior exposure to HIPAA or medical records is a strong plus).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with basic database management, electronic record systems, and office applications (e.g., MS Office/Excel).
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, time-efficient, and able to work productively with minimal supervision.
