Election Day Surveyor
Pay: $17/hour Assignment Dates and Times: 03/02/2026 12 pm – 3 pm; 03/03/2026 6:30 am – until complete Location: 77032
On-site training will be from 12PM to 3PM on 03/02/26. They will report for training 3 hours before ED and Election Day.
Election Day Surveys will begin at 6:30 AM on Tuesday March 3rd and continue until completed. Photo ID is required both days and the dress code is business casual and must be nonpartisan.
Job duties:
Conducts physical accessibility surveys of polling places in Harris County using issued iPad and appropriate tools.
Takes and labels photos of issues at polling places.
Advises judges on how to implement remedies appropriately.
Assists the ADA team as needed.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license
Ability to communicate with a partner to problem solve
Familiarity with an iPad and tools
Must have own transportation
Ability to write clearly
Attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Ability to regularly bend down to take photos or measurements
Ability to work outside for most of the workday, and work in most weather conditions
Must be willing to consent to background and drug screen
