Responsibilities:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and on time
Post journal entries and maintain general ledger records
Assist with premium and policy-related financial transactions
Verify and reconcile vendor invoices
Prepare and issue payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers)
Monitor incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances
Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Generate routine accounting reports for management review
Support audits by gathering required documentation
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards
Maintain confidentiality of financial data
Follow insurance industry regulations and internal controls
Provide clerical support to senior accountants and finance staff
Assist with data entry and system updates
Communicate with internal departments and external vendors
Requirements:
1-3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical finance experience.
High School Diploma.
Associates or Bachelors preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic understanding of accounting principals.
Good organizational and multitasking skills.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate:
$17/hour
