In an Accounting Clerk job you’ll be responsible for:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Enter invoices, purchase orders, and financial transactions into QuickBooks.
• Maintain accurate financial records, files, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records when required.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create reports, track financial data, and analyze account activity.

What you’ll need:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks for entering financial transactions, invoicing, and maintaining accounting records.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, invoicing, and general ledger maintenance.
• Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
