Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a direct hireAccounting Analyst for a company located in Deer Park (77536). This role supports the company’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities through budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability reporting.
As an Accounting Analyst you’ll be responsible for:
Compile and execute journal entries
Execute account reconciliations
Maintain the period-end close schedule and related activities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with monthly P&L analysis and explain budget-to-actual variances
Support FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc financial analyses
Assist department managers with budget preparation and expense tracking
Monitor revenue and expense activity to ensure accurate financial reporting
Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning initiatives
Serve as a secondary intercompany contact with trading partners
Provide audit support and assist with external audit requests
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and leadership teams on financial reporting initiatives
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
What you’ll need:
2+ years of experience in financial or accounting analysis
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
Perks:
Salary: $60K-70K
