Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a direct hireAccountant for a company located in the Clear Lake area.
As the Accountant you will:
Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including funding, contract values, budgets, and project costs.
Serve as the primary customer contact for contract inquiries, funding details, estimates, quotations, and pricing.
Create and maintain project charge codes and master data to ensure accurate cost collection and reporting.
Review and reconcile labor, materials, subcontractor expenses, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and other project transactions.
Partner with Project Managers to reconcile labor hours, monitor project billing, identify cost variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Generate project financial reports, including budget-to-actual, job cost, project status, and month-end reporting.
Maintain accurate project documentation and accounting records while supporting month-end close and reconciliations.
Provide professional customer service, maintain confidentiality, ensure regulatory compliance, identify process improvements, and perform other assigned duties.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
3+ years of accounting experience
