Meador an Openwork Company is currently engaged in a search to find a ContractAccountant IV for a company located in the Downtown Austin area. The Accountant IV role is ideal for someone with a strong background in investment accounting, data reconciliation, and cash processing who thrives in a secure, high-integrity financial environment.
As an Accountant IV, you’ll be responsible for:
Investment Reconciliation: Assisting with the daily and monthly reconciliation of investment transactions and Net Asset Valuation (NAV) between the internal subsidiary ledger and external custodian records.
Alternative Investments: Supporting the unique reconciliation processes required for alternative asset classes.
Cash Processing Support: Cross-training with the Cash Processing team to accurately handle cash receipts and prepare daily deposits.
Data Integrity: Ensuring all financial data is meticulously reviewed and recorded in compliance with internal controls.
What you’ll need:
A background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in investment operations, custody reconciliation, or investment accounting.
Direct experience handling cash processing, banking deposits, or general ledger reconciliations.
