Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Extrusion Supervisor in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for accuracy in the warehouse. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a Extrusion Supervisor role you’ll be responsible for:
 

  • Supervise and lead a team of extrusion operators and production staff

  • Schedule shifts and assign daily production tasks

  • Oversee machine setup, operation, and changeovers

  • Monitor production output to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met

  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees on performance and safety compliance

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed

  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies

  • Conduct quality checks and review production documentation

  • Manage raw material usage and minimize waste

  • Maintain accurate production reports and performance metrics

  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives


 What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred

  • 3–5+ years of extrusion or manufacturing experience

  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability

  • Knowledge of extrusion machinery and production processes

  • Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and quality standards

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and production tracking software

  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed

Monday-Friday
5:00 pm- 4:30 am
