Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Extrusion Operator in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for accuracy in the warehouse. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.

In a Extrusion Operation role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Set up and operate extrusion machines according to production specifications

  • Load raw materials (pellets, resins, metals, etc.) into hoppers or feeding systems

  • Monitor machine settings including temperature, pressure, speed, and output

  • Inspect finished products for quality, size, and consistency

  • Adjust machine controls to correct defects or maintain product standards

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment

  • Record production data, downtime, and material usage

  • Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area


 What you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience (preferred)

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment

  • Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

  • Basic math and documentation skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

5:00 pm- 4:30 am
