Forklift Operator
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stage materials while supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, quality-focused, and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform general labor duties as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Follow all company work procedures and safety policies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with coworkers, vendors, and visitors.
- Be punctual and prepared to begin work at the start of each shift.
- Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business demands.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to successfully complete the company's forklift certification, including both written and practical evaluations.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Excellent attendance and reliability.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor warehouse environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
Safety & Quality
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and safety in all work performed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment at all times.

Pay Rate: $16.50
