Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Houston, TX 77095

Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Training will be done on 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm (Roughly 2 weeks)

Pay: $19 per hour 

 

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Technician looking for a stable, full-time opportunity with room to grow? We’re hiring a Manufacturing Technician to join our client’s team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate various hand-function machines such as heat sealers, band sealers, and similar packaging equipment.
• Perform manual labeling, packing, and light assembly of products according to specifications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure proper machine function and product integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Prepare materials and supplies for production runs.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting of equipment and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
• Follow work orders, instructions, and standard operating procedures consistently.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed when required.
• Setting up filling equipment per job
• Breaking down filling equipment upon job completion
• Cleaning filling equipment and other tools
• Helping production with issues with filling equipment 
• Making adjustments and repairs to filling, labeling and sealing equipment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or packaging environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-operated packaging machinery is a plus.
• Experience with pneumatics, rebuilding/cleaning pneumatic pumps is a plus 
• Mechanical and light electrical skills preferred 
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and handle light manual tasks (no heavy machinery).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and processes.
